Requirements:
Minimum Criteria
Part-FCL (EASA) ATPL license
Current Type Rating Boeing 737
At least 4000 hours flying with an airline under EASA OPS
At least 500 hours on type and previous captain experience
Valid class 1 medical
Secondary school leaving qualification entitling to university access in the country it was issued and/or a recognized university diploma
Very good command of the English language, ELP 4 or higher
Height over 156 cm
Financial Conditions
Contract Type: Fix term 20-24 months (if desired, it could be reduced to 8 month) or Seasonal up to 10 months + 2 months break (repeatable)
Starting salary: 10.454,83€ * (scaled with flight hours)
Sign-on Bonus: 9.000€ (1st contract), 4.500€ (2nd contract)
Accommodation in Luxembourg: covered for up to 2 weeks if requested
Luxair Pilot Community: Option of integration into the Luxair Pilot Community after the fixed-term contract according to the Luxair Seniority System
Boeing Pilots-In-Command with at least 4000 hours flying with scheduled airline, starting salary at + 4000 flight hours: 10.454,83€. For every 1000 flight hours with scheduled airlines, 1 salary scale time unit will be credited towards the starting salary. As an example, the salary for at least 11.000 flight hours is 13.165,34€.Luxembourg has advantages tax rates, e.g. a gross salary of 13.165,34€ for a married person results in an approx. net salary of 8.866,62€ (taxation depends on your individual household compensation) and for a single person it results in an approx. net salary of 7.756,02€.
